Our SAP Functional Manager will ensure delivery of SAP solutions to support departments and operational groups.    Sap Functional Manager is a working small team manager that will lead a team to achieve stated results, with a focus on leadership, vision, strategy, culture, best practices and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • • Provide a capable team able to meet the company's dynamic business requirements.
    • Sets expectations for area of responsibility, establishing priorities, and documenting potential scope changes that may impact project budget.
    • Stay on top of new developments in the SAP field to properly leverage new technologies.
    • Manage staff development goals.
    • Lead and participate in determining change impacts and assist with change management
    • Lead ongoing support, maintenance, updates, solution quality and continuous improvement of the SAP solutions.
    • Work with application developers to complete technical changes in the systems including code and configuration reviews
    • Ensure the changes and enhancements are developed, tested, and deployed in a controlled environment.   
    • Maintain change management governance to the functionality delivered through SAP and other supporting processes.
    • As needed serve as the first line of defense on support for functional / technical / process issues.
    • As needed troubleshoot production issues, provides resolutions and conducts root cause analysis.
    • Ensure the adherence to all Internal/External audit and SOX IT controls
    • Works with external business partners when required
    • Other duties as requested by leadership
Education, Skills, Experience Needed
  • • Demonstrated success in leading a small team to deliver software systems
    • 10 years of SAP experience delivering solutions to business users and experience with multiple SAP modules.
    • Ability to speak diligently/eloquently to business users about technical topics; to speak diligently/eloquently to technical people about business related topics; to work smoothly with people from multiple professional disciplines
    • Bachelors in Computer Science, Accounting, or equivalent work experience in a relevant business area.
    • Experience working in a Global organization, with multiple currencies, FX in a SOX compliant environment.
    • Demonstrated experience in project management .
    • Working knowledge and/or experience with change management processes.
    • Proficient in the use of the MS Office Suite applications-- Word, Excel, and Visio.
Working Environment
  • Work is performed in a typical indoor office environment
  • Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late when necessary with little or no notice
  • Must be able to read documents, use a computer, communicate verbally and in writing
  • Mobility required within an office, warehouse and construction site environments
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
Requirements
