Our Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will solicit, understand, and document the customer's business requirements, processes and workflows developing both written and visual depictions of requirements and process flows. You will also work with developers to create the functional specifications that meet those requirements, serve as a subject matter expert to the developers building those functions, and work with the QA team to test the developed functionality.

Responsibilities
  • Develop business requirements, process flows and functional specifications
  • Work with QA to develop functional test plans and user acceptance test plans and scenarios
  • Perform data analysis to support evaluation of system or develops requirements for new functionality
  • Assist in various system trouble shooting and balancing and correction efforts including analysis, verification and validation of issues and fixes
  • In conjunction with the Change Manager, conduct impact analysis of technology changes on business processes and existing technology
  • Facilitate collaborative system and data design sessions with the user community, technical architecture resources and development resources
  • Provide analytical support for critical corporate initiatives including business function support for system migrations and consolidations, significant business area process improvement projects and complex product installations
  • Demonstrate a high level of subject matter expertise in functional area to bridge business requirements and IT solutions
  • Manage small to medium level projects following the SDLC
  • Create user guides and/or other training material as needed based on the project
  • Other duties as assigned by leadership
Education, Skills, Experience Needed
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field
  • 7 years of prior enterprise level business analysis, including: process definition, requirement gathering and documentation, use cases, workflow and gap analysis
  • Ability to adapt to frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events and still yield an effective outcome
  • Ability to collect and research data to formulate into a comprehensive results or reports and design them into workflow procedures
  • Ability to query MSSQL databases
  • Knowledge of basic web technologies and how websites/mobile applications request and process data
  • In depth understanding and experience with waterfall and agile methodologies
  • Excellent written and oral communication skill
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, employees, customers, and business contacts/agencies
  • Ability to provide a high level of customer service
  • Ability to work independently with little supervisory guidance
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
Working Environment
  • Work is performed in a regular office setting
  • Must be able to read documents, use a computer, communicate verbally and in writing
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
Requirements
