A customer reporting computer system is the pipeline for information between NPL and our customers. At NPL, the Customer Service Representative is the key to make sure that our data is accurate, complete, and on time – every time.

Responsibilities

  • Process daily field labor reports submitted by construction crews in the Customer Reporting System
  • Complete data entry of installation projects into the Customer Reporting System
  • Serve as subject matter expert and champion of customer corporate polices and regulations
  • Pull work orders from the Customer Reporting System and release to coordinators on a daily basis
  • Enter all completed work orders into tracking spreadsheet
  • Complete quarterly reports of completed work orders and corrections
  • Remedy all internal/external customer issues
  • Facilitate and effectively communicate with internal staff and customer representatives
  • Relieve and balance inventory through data entry into the Customer Reporting System
  • Maintain well-organized electronic and paper based filing and tracking systems
  • Shadow other teams for cross training; support teams as needed
  • Other duties as assigned or apparent

Education, Skills, Experience Needed

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Excellent skills in Windows, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, etc., are required
  • Experience working with Field Operations Management System/Work Management Information System/Customer Management Systems in a construction environment is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of or experience with the natural gas industry is a bonus, but not required
  • Solid technical skills in order to easily learn new systems, transition between technologies easily, and ensure data accuracy are required
  • Proven effective written and verbal communication skills are required
  • Expert team player with strong organizational and time management skills are required

Working Environment

  • Start time daily of 6am
  • Work is performed in a typical indoor office environment
  • Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late when necessary with little or no notice
  • Must be able to read documents, use a computer, communicate verbally and in writing
  • Mobility required within an office, warehouse and construction site environments
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds

Requirements

  • Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens
  • Provide valid US work authorization documents for E-Verify
  • Satisfactory results of pre-employment background check results
