Under the guidance of the Senior Supervisor of Quality and Safety, you will perform administrative tasks, manage department records, and assist with communication to ensure efficient operations and compliance with regulations.

What You'll Do

  • Manage all work packets received from customers, overseeing the process from receipt to submission back to the customer
  • Maintain digital tracking of work packets at each step of the process
  • Electronically file and store all work packet documentation completed by Foremen and Supervisors, organized by work order number and location
  • Manage and initiate internal DigSafe tickets using Exactix based on the work packet schedule and communications from the Supervisor or customer
  • Track DigSafe ticket expirations and renew tickets according to communications from the Supervisor
  • Assist with the annual tracking of calibration for locate equipment and maintain electronic storage of calibration records
  • Track locate equipment repairs and file documentation received from the manufacturer or repair service
  • Digitally file Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Locate Equipment Maintenance Checklists and Accuracy Checklists
  • Assist with periodic documentation audits
  • Help schedule, document, and procure necessary resources for training throughout the year
  • Communicate and track all Problem Locates identified by locators, both internally and for customers
  • Assist with the daily and weekly scheduling of locators based on field needs
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by leadership
     

What You'll Have

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of related experience 
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge and skill in using technology, including laptops tablets, and Smartsheets

Work Environment

  • Work is performed in a 50% office and 50% field work at warehouse and construction sites
  • Flexibility to work different schedules and stay late with little or no notice
  • Must be able to read documents, use a computer, communicate verbally and in writing
  • Mobility required within an office, warehouse and construction site environments
  • All worksite safety instructions are written and spoken in English; must be fluent in English
  • Work includes prolonged and repeated: lifting (including overhead, up to 50lbs); standing; climbing; kneeling; reaching and feeling; crouching and crawling
  • Field work is performed within the “red zone” of heavy equipment
  • Working safely requires quick/accurate hand-eye coordination and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
