As a Drafting Supervisor, you will spearhead the design and development of underground natural gas distribution systems. You will be responsible for delivering cost-effective, high-quality engineering solutions that exceed customer expectations while navigating complex regulatory landscapes. By championing our 'No Compromises' philosophy, you will ensure your team maintains the highest benchmarks for precision, safety, and operational excellence.

What You'll Do

• Work with Drafters to perform analysis and quality assurance on gas installation paperwork submitted by field personnel
• Lead Drafters to achieve productivity and quality goals
• Maintain records for documentation and reporting
• Communicate project updates daily
• Analyze procedures for continuous process improvement
• Train employees in proper procedures and specifications
• Interview and hire members in the drafting department
• Perform other tasks as requested by leadership

What You'll Have

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience working with underground utilities
• Proficient in use of AUTO CAD software and free-hand drafting

Work Environment

• Work is performed in a 50% office and 50% field work at warehouse and construction sites
• Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late when necessary with little or no notice
• Must be able to read documents, use a computer, communicate verbally and in writing
• Mobility required within an office, warehouse and construction site environments
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds

Legal Stuff

• Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens
• Provide valid US work authorization documents for E-Verify
• Satisfactory results of pre-employment background check results
