As a Hydrovac Operator, you will support our construction operations by loading, transporting and unloading equipment, supplies, and earthen materials. All truck drivers must have a valid CDL A (class-A commercial driver's license) with tanker endorsement. Truck drivers operate specialized trucks to move earth, equipment, tools and materials safely into place.

What You'll Do

  • Drive and operate a truck outfitted with a hydro vacuum excavation implement
  • When needed potentially operate a variety of vehicles once certified such as, dump truck, sweepers, flatbeds, tankers, snowplow, boom lift
  • Haul Material to and from jobsites
  • Using a hand shovel to dig and clean up soil, sand, and gravel.
  • Load and unload equipment and materials
  • Daily pre-shift vehicle and equipment inspections
  • Keeping daily log to track production
  • Preforming regular maintenance and cleaning on assigned vehicles and equipment
  • Maintain all industry required Operator Qualifications
  • Other tasks as requested by leadership 

What You'll Have

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A CDL) with tanker endorsement
  • Skill to operate equipment near workers and underground utilities
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations pertaining to commercial vehicles

Work Environment

  • Work sites are outdoors in potentially extreme weather conditions
  • All worksite safety instructions are written and spoken in English; must be fluent in English
  • Work includes prolonged and repeated: lifting (including overhead, up to 50lbs); standing; climbing; kneeling; reaching and feeling; crouching and crawling
  • Work is performed within the “red zone” of heavy equipment
  • Working safely requires quick/accurate hand-eye coordination and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner

  • Provide valid US work authorization documents for E-Verify
  • Satisfactory results of pre-employment background check results
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
