The Senior Fleet Analyst partners with operations, finance, and field leadership to develop reporting, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure fleet programs align with organizational goals, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

What You'll Do

  • Accurately provide analysis on fleet related operational and financial data utilizing both internal and third party source information
  • Develop, design and implement fleet financial tools, statistical reporting, and KPI packages for management
    Prepare financial analysis for equipment life cycle decisions relative to hourly rates, replacement periods and asset financing options
  • Analyze, develop, and maintain productivity measurements to simplify and/or improve fleet utilization
    Prepare reports and data to identify trends and support fleet related recommendations, process/policy improvement and decision making effectiveness
  • Assist with the development of fleet related presentations, budgets and forecasts, including maintenance, repair, fuel, asset utilization, and driver behavior
  • Analyze performance measurements to report on company goals and objectives
  • Engage with multiple business units and fleet related personnel to bring transparency to the process of creating and analyzing fleet related budgets and spend improvements
  • Collaborate to implement projects, complete tasks, and fulfill plans to ensure timely and efficient analysis, modeling, evaluation and reporting
  • Monitor and analyze fleet related industry trends, departmental/company fleet related policies and practices, and other related activities and factors impacting departmental, area, and company performance 
  • Logically integrate information from multiple resources and effectively communicates results to department management
    Develop creative and innovative analytical solutions for problem solving
  • Demonstrate a high level of subject matter expertise in functional area to bridge business requirements and IT solutions
  • Perform other duties as requested by leadership

What You'll Have

  • Bachelor’s Degree in the field of business, finance, or statistics or equivalent experience 
  • 8 year’s experience as an analyst
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Power BI
  • Six Sigma/Continuous Improvement Certification preferred
  • Strong Analytical skills
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of the fleet industry, fleet cost accounting and asset financing
  • Familiarity with GPS/Telematics platforms and Fleet Management Information Systems
  • Ability to work well with and communicate with other employees and third parties

Work Environment

  • Work is performed in a typical indoor office environment
  • Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late when necessary with little or no notice
  • Must be able to read documents, use a computer, communicate verbally and in writing
  • Mobility required within an office, warehouse and construction site environments
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
