As a Business Process Governance Specialist, you will establish and maintain the company’s policy governance and quality system to ensure legal and regulatory compliance, operational consistency, and continuous improvement. you will own the policy lifecycle, set the review cadence for policies and procedures, conduct compliance testing and QA sampling, and partner with Legal, HR, IT, and Operations to operationalize controls, track corrective actions, and ensure compliant HR practices.
What You'll Do
- Lead the full policy governance lifecycle, including drafting, reviews, approvals, version control, and training.
- Partner with Legal, HR, IT, and Operations to ensure policies align with evolving laws, regulations, and compliance standards.
- Design and execute quality assurance and control-testing programs, including root-cause analysis and corrective action management.
- Map and optimize business processes and standardize SOPs to support consistency and continuous improvement.
- Develop and deliver compliance-related training, communications, and change-management materials.
- Prepare and maintain compliance reporting and dashboards for leadership and governance bodies.
- Other tasks as requested by leadership.
What You'll Have
- 2+ years in HR plus experience in compliance, quality, audit, or process excellence.
- Strong knowledge of policy governance, regulatory compliance, internal controls, and audit/QA methodologies.
- Excellent technical writing skills for policies, SOPs, and audit-ready documentation.
- Skills in data analysis and reporting, including dashboards.
- Ability to lead process mapping, continuous improvement, and change-management initiatives.
- Strong collaboration skills across HR, Legal, IT, Operations, and leadership teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field; PHR/SPHR or related compliance/audit certifications strongly preferred.

Work Environment
- Work is performed in a typical indoor office environment
- Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late, when necessary, with little or no notice
- Must be able to read documents, use a computer, communicate verbally and in writing
- Mobility required within an office, warehouse and construction site environments
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
