As a member of the Centuri Fleet Team our Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for monitoring and managing the Fleet Department’s Fleet Management Information system, data, analytical tools and coordinating the implementation of new methods to support Centuri business units.

Responsibilities

  • Perform data analysis to support the evaluation of current systems and develop requirements for new system functionalities
  • Supplement the development of Fleet management information system to meet the needs to operations 
  • Perform quarterly audit and review of Fleet systems 
  • Define, develop, debug complex coding to support systems and reports
  • Assist in system trouble shooting and correction efforts
  • Conduct impact analysis of technology changes on business processes and existing technology 
  • Facilitate system and data design sessions with the technical and development teams
  • Assist in the development of data models and interface design specifications 
  • Conduct requirement level testing with the Quality Assurance team
  • Provide support for system migrations and consolidations, business area process improvement projects and complex product installations
  • Demonstrate a high level of subject matter expertise to bridge business requirements and IT solutions 
  • Practice knowledge transfer and foster change management, focusing on team/individual development 
  • Provide analysis on Fleet related operational and financial data utilizing both internal and third party data
  • Prepare reports and presentations to identify analytical findings, KPI’s, trends and/or recommendations
  • Analyze performance measurements to report on company objectives
  • Perform other duties as requested by management

Education, Skills, Experience Needed

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent job experience
  • Prior enterprise level business analysis experience including: process definition, requirement gathering and documentation, use cases, workflows and gap analysis
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products with a focus on Excel, SharePoint and Power BI Advance Excel and advanced analytical skills required
  • High level proficiency in SQL, Java, HTML
  • Ability to query MS SQL databases
  • Knowledge of basic ERP technologies (i.e. SAP, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards)
  • Knowledge of basic web technologies and how websites/mobile applications request and process data 
  • Skilled in collecting and researching data to formulate into comprehensive results or reports and design them into workflow procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Team oriented with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create presentations, present information and respond to questions from managers, employees, customers, and business contacts/agencies
  • Ability to interpret and execute a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form 
  • Ability to provide a high level of customer service to both internal and external contacts
  • Capable of being directly responsible for improving information, services, and support other team members need to do their jobs
  • Ability to work effectively with periodic supervisory guidance Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to adapt to frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events and still create an effective outcome Ability to maintain confidentiality

Working Environment

  • Work is performed in a typical indoor office environment
  • Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late when necessary with little or no notice
  • Must be able to read documents, use a computer, communicate verbally and in writing
  • Mobility required within an office, warehouse and construction site environments
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds

Requirements
