The Creative Specialist will collaborate with the team to design and develop best in class materials in support of Centuri’s strategic objectives while contributing directly to business growth.
What You'll Do
• Create visually compelling and brand-aligned designs that bring to life the story of Centuri, its people, and the work it does building essential energy infrastructure across electric, gas, and distributed power markets.
• Support the team’s work to maintain brand consistency, enhance the internal customer experience, and deliver top-quality internal and external assets.
• Develop compelling, on-brand materials with a heavy emphasis on internal and external PowerPoint slide decks, marketing collateral, external reports, social media graphics, and website assets.
• Ensure all designs align with the company’s brand identity, including typography, color schemes, and visual style, across all platforms.
• Support continuous improvement within the function including project trackers and management of the online digital asset library.
• Exercise strategic thinking and poise under aggressive timelines, showing confidence in the ability to adapt creatively when the scope of a project requires.
• Foster and maintain healthy cross-functional relationships across operations and Business Development as well as with any other internal departments that require the team’s support.
• Work closely with internal partners to translate ideas into visual assets that support strategic business objectives.
• Explore additional, emerging visual styles and deck directions, helping to continuously improve creative output and maintain a leading edge.
• Maintain awareness and continuing education of emerging technologies and graphics tools, including AI and other software applications.
What You'll Have
• A minimum of an AA degree in Graphic Design or Graphic Arts
• At least 5 years’ experience working in a creative, design-based role
• A portfolio of work that shows a wide variety of design styles and software used
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro, and Photoshop.
• Expert skill level in Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
• PowerPoint: Create custom charts and graphs, work with slide masters, image files, and templates.
• Willing to learn new technologies to support email campaigns, social media, and more.
• Experience with SharePoint and internal employer platforms a plus.
• Work cross-platform, Mac and PC, and be proficient in both.
• You have managed full production from concept to client interaction, with an ability to create opportunity in the ordinary.
• A positive team player with a reputation for a willingness to jump in and contribute.
• A critical eye and attention to detail and a biased towards innovation.
• A solutions-oriented mindset, and comfortable with tight deadlines.
• Preferred: You have a passion for energy sector.
• Preferred: Located in Central or Pacific Time.

Work Environment
• Work is performed in a typical indoor office environment
• Flexibility to work different schedules and stay late with little or no notice
• Must be able to read documents, use a computer, communicate verbally and in writing
• Mobility required within an office, warehouse and construction site environments
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
