Reporting to the Manager of External Reporting, you are responsible for the accurate creation and analysis of financial reports ensuring compliance with policy and internal controls.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze financial statements to identify potential issues and provide explanations for fluctuations
  • Prepare accurate internal and external consolidated financial reports during the monthly financial close process
  • Prepare and post consolidation and other high level journal entries
  • Research US GAAP and SEC accounting standards and formally document conclusions to be presented to Senior Management, including leases, consolidations and contract revenue recognition
  • Manage internal control compliance, process design, documentation and implementation
  • Create general ledger reconciliations for accounts
  • Identify and help to implement process improvements and efficiencies within the accounting department
  • Respond to and assist with internal and external audit requests and inquiries
  • Other responsibilities as requested by leadership

What You'll Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance 
  • 2+ years' experience in accounting or related field
  • Active CPA License or passed CPA exam and awaiting certification
  • Demonstrated experience in performing financial statement analysis

Work Environment

  • Work is performed in a typical indoor office environment
  • Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late when necessary with little or no notice
  • Must be able to read documents, use a computer, communicate verbally and in writing
  • Mobility required within an office, warehouse and construction site environments
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
