Reporting to the Director of External Reporting, you will oversee accurate financial reporting of Centuri’s consolidated financial statements.

What You'll Do

• Manage the preparation of the monthly consolidated financial statements and reports for management.
• Manage the coordination and preparation of financial statements and disclosures on Forms 10-Q, 10-K and 8-K with the Securities and Exchange Commission after the filing an effective registration statement.
• Participate in determining the impact from accounting and financial statement changes (such as acquisitions, stock-based compensation, and segment reporting), and direct the steps necessary to correct or reflect adjustments to ensure accurate reporting.
• Provide professional advice and develops strategy for a broad range of accounting issues.
• Participate in the review of existing and proposed regulations of the FASB, SEC, and/or other authoritative bodies that formulate or have jurisdiction over financial reporting or accounting matters that will impact the Company.
• Participate in the interpretation and analysis of new accounting principles and regulatory decisions to assess the financial statement impact, and the implementation of accounting-related changes to ensure compliance.
• Analyze peer company financial filings for best practice incorporation into Centuri financial reporting.
• Assist with the external audit process.
• Perform other responsibilities as requested by leadership

What You'll Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 7+ years of relevant financial reporting experience
• Prior SEC reporting experience within either public accounting or a publicly traded company
• Active CPA license

Work Environment

• Work is performed in a typical indoor office environment
• Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late when necessary with little or no notice
• Must be able to read documents, use a computer, communicate verbally and in writing
• Mobility required within an office, warehouse and construction site environments
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds

Legal Stuff
