Become part of the Centuri Group – Shared Service Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) Team that supports our operational partners in the commitment to continuous improvement. The Shared Service SHEQ team is the architect and facilitator of enterprise wide SHEQ programs. In close collaboration with our Business Partners, this team is dedicated to evaluating operational risk as it pertains to safety, health, environmental and quality, as well as, building and implementing an integrated management system that supports risk mitigation and compliance. As part of continuous improvement, the shared service team oversees the development of program standards, SHEQ training, auditing, and data analytics using advanced technologies in their delivery. The SHEQ team is empowered to provide the most advanced SHEQ solutions to the business to support our customers' needs, regulatory compliance and, most importantly, our employees' wellbeing.

 

Metrics and Measurement are an important part of establishing strong performance in SHEQ. By applying data and reporting techniques, you will understand requirements and report on SHEQ related data using complex analysis of datasets in areas of risk and incident management, and other enterprise functions. Experience distilling large amounts of data into a meaningful report is important. We ask that you understand advanced methods to analyze and interpret data from multiple sources with an outcome to measure success and solve business needs. You will ensure data integrity by implementing quality assurance best practices and appropriate methods to create repeatable reports. You will report to the Sr. Director, SHEQ Management Systems, Compliance, and Metrics, and will lead the SHEQ Reporting team.

 

Position is hybrid 3 days in office | 2 days remote

What You'll Do

  • Oversee the daily operations of the department's data and business intelligence reporting
  • Monitor business operations through data analytics and business intelligence applications and methodologies
  • Communicate findings to team members for action to reduce risk and exposure to the business
  • Identify opportunities for analytics and performance measurements relating to risk reporting
  • Create reports and analyze data to provide assessments of SHEQ to guide decision-making
  • Support partners in the field with report requests and collaborate with departments including IT and Data Analytics/Data Governance
  • Oversee the execution of reports to assist with goal and performance planning
  • Improve existing standard reports, make recommendations, and analyze data to measure and provide accurate assessments of data
  • Manage SHEQ applications, such as iAuditor and Riskonnect, relating to SHEQ and produce dashboards
  • Audit data to ensure data integrity within multiple systems
  • Apply data governance standards and standardized processes to ensure data integrity
  • Create dashboards and reports for corresponding partners across the enterprise
  • Perform other responsibilities as requested by leadership

What You'll Have

  • Bachelor's Degree required in related field (Business, Technology, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or Mathematics, Safety)
  • 2+ years of general reporting experience in an Analyst or related role
  • Strong quantitative and analytic skills with high degree of attention to detail
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word), inclusive of pivot tables, charts/graphs for reporting, and data visualization tools such as Power BI
  • Proficiency working with very large datasets, developing tools for streamlined analysis and creating reports that summarize complex concepts
  • Experience interpreting data and identifying patterns in data or processes
  • Proficiency with Smartsheet platform to include creating complex workflows, building reports and dashboards, setting up and maintaining Data Shuttle processes, and building/maintaining Dynamic Views
  • Experience conducting or leading root cause analysis
  • Experience creating reports and working with data on the Salesforce platform
  • Experience defining standards for work processes and managing activities and people in a manner that achieves results
  • Experience communicating with others and conveying concepts and information in business writing
  • Experience presenting information to a variety of audiences
  • Experience encouraging collaborative relationships with partners inside or outside the organization
  • Ability to anticipate the possible effects and consequences of situations and take appropriate action to be prepared for possible contingencies
  • Ability to establish a clear vision for SHEQ and foster teamwork to lead others to pursue that vision
  • Experience developing goals that support objectives
  • Ability to manage others and take responsibility for one's own performance and employees' performance

Work Environment
