As a Manager of Quality Assurance you will be responsible for maturing the software quality assurance team by providing leadership, critical thinking, visioning, and overall testing best practices. You will build, manage and execute all aspects of testing and test cycles including functional, end to end, integration, regression and UAT. Lead the Quality Assurance team to deliver high-quality software and application solutions for multiple complex projects. You will champion continuous improvement efforts and defect reduction initiatives to establish an effective and repeatable QA program by establishing and enforcing quality, reliability, testing and data standards. You will report to the Director of Quality, Services & Support.
What You'll Do
- Set the overall direction of the testing team by providing critical thinking, visioning, and overall testing best practices
- Collaborate with Project Managers, implementation partners, technology staff, and the business
- Build testing automation that holds repeatable and user-friendly test bed of business specific scenarios in an organized structure
- Mature the organizations testing processes, teams, and understanding of quality processes and tools
- Manage testing structure including all test scenarios and test cases
- Organize, author and facilitate test script writing and execution ensuring full scope coverage.
- Store, manage, update and organize test scripts and test cycles based off a testing plan
- Oversee usability and traceability for testing with all cycles being held intact and new cycle structures created
- Document test results, defects, statistics, entrance and exit criteria, and severity level of defects
- Produce defect reports and facilitates defect meetings keeping management and developers appraised of major issues
- Coordinate testing with all products (i.e. FDM, App Dev, SAP, etc) including schedule, tracking, and consolidated reporting.
- Champion EDS goals for standardization and process improvement across the enterprise
- Perform other responsibilities as requested by leadership
What You'll Have
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT or related field required
- 10+ years of experience in IT systems and applications development teams
- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance and testing
- 2+ years in a formal Leadership position
- Experience implementing and leveraging test automation
- Experience with SAP and Salesforce preferred
- Subject matter expertise on QA methodologies and processes improvement
- Understanding of Project Management principles, methods and techniques
- Advanced trouble shooting skills associated with software and application
- Strong knowledge of SDLC tools testing such as ADO, HP’s ALM/Quality Center, and Jira
- Possess a customer service focus mindset
- Strong interpersonal, influence, and leadership skills

Work Environment
- Work is performed in a typical indoor office environment
- Flexibility to work different schedules and stay late with little or no notice
