Our Risk Management and Document Control Specialist ensures the efficient operation of activities related to enterprise risk management, business continuity, and business policies and processes.  You will provide support by participating in risk assessments, maintaining and updating records, and generating reports to support the Company’s risk profile.  You will also be responsible for the overall coordination and control of policy documentation within the Company.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the contact person for Centuri Group’s Corporate policies while actively supporting policy and procedure development, approval, communication, and maintenance
  • Actively manages policies to ensure they are reviewed and updated as needed prior to their review due date
  • Organize and document work electronically using a tracking log, electronic filing system, and electronic policy management database
  • Handle inquiries and provide ongoing continuing education sessions about drafting, reviewing, and revising policies and the policy process
  • Proactively seek innovative ways to streamline operations and follows through on implementing new processes
  • Participate in business process reviews, providing guidance to process owners to ensure adequate, efficient control of Company records and compliance
  • Provide support in coordinating, assessing, developing and communicating recovery requirements and contingency plans associated with Centuri’s business continuity program, including disaster recovery support and event response
  • Assist with ERM risk assessment survey and compile and analyze data responses 
  • Conduct research to identify solutions to mitigate potential areas of risk 
  • Provide research and analytical support for the Company’s enterprise risk management program 
  • Perform other duties as requested by leadership 
Education, Skills, Experience Needed
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
  • 3 + years’ experience in ERM or similar function
  • Familiarity in Document Control or similar Quality Systems related role with at least 3 years' experience 
  • Must be proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Adobe
  • Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Must be organized and have strong attention to detail
  • Ability to learn quickly and prioritize tasks in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Ability to adapt to frequent changes or unexpected events and still yield an effective outcome
  • Ability to follow instructions and work on projects until to the end goal is accomplished
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to provide a high level of customer service by answering questions, providing accurate information, and responding to requests on a timely basis.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
Working Environment
  • Work is performed in a typical indoor office environment
  • Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late when necessary with little or no notice
  • Must be able to read documents, use a computer, communicate verbally and in writing
  • Mobility required within an office, warehouse and construction site environments
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
Requirements
  • Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens
