Our Senior Fleet Operations Analyst provides data analysis and reporting for our Fleet organization which provides Fleet Management services for all Centuri business units. Your responsibilities will include data gathering, analysis, interpretation and reporting for the optimization of our fleet operations. You will also formulate and test solutions to business problems, develop and implement best practices to optimize analytical needs and ensure compliance to Centuri standards.

  • Learn and understand Centuri business operations and metrics
  • Provide analysis on fleet related operational and financial data utilizing both internal and third party source information
  • Prepare reports and presentations to identify analytical finding, key performance indicators, trends and/or recommendations
  • Analyze performance measurements to report on company goals and objectives
  • Use problem solving skills to identify data problems or issues and determine root cause
  • Develop, design and implement analytical tools and statistical reporting methods
  • Collaborate with peers and all levels of organization to research available data, develop new processes/ideas or efficiencies
  • Logically integrate information from multiple resources and effectively communicates results
  • Develop creative and innovative analytical solutions for problem solving
  • Demonstrate a high level of subject matter expertise in functional area to bridge business requirements and IT solutions
  • Establish controls to monitor and ensure business success
  • Perform other duties as requested by leadership

Education, Skills, Experience Needed

  • Accredited Bachelor’s Degree in the field of business, finance, or statistics or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience as an analyst 
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS PowerBI, MS Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Proven ability to ensure accurate analysis and reports
  • Experience in utilizing APIs to integrate systems
  • Ability to be identify operational improvements or issues based on data analytics
  • Strong Analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment
  • Knowledge of the fleet industry, cost accounting and asset financing
  • Familiarity with GPS/Telematics platforms and Fleet Management Information Systems
  • Ability to work well with and communicate with other employees and third parties

Working Environment

  • Work is performed in a typical indoor office environment
  • Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late when necessary with little or no notice
  • Must be able to read documents, use a computer, communicate verbally and in writing
  • Mobility required within an office, warehouse and construction site environments
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
