What You'll Do
- Build, maintain, and repair energized multiphase distribution systems
- Work safely on energized poles, fixtures, and lines
- Assist the Foreman with job coordination and switching orders
- Perform field switching, grounding, and clearance orders following company and customer standards
- Complete all required safety and technical training
- Handle administrative and site documentation as needed
- Serve as a leader on your crew — modeling safety and professionalism
- Maintain all industry required qualifications
- Perform other responsibilities as requested by leadership
What You'll Have
- High School Diploma or GED
- 4+ years of experience in the electrical powerline industry
- 3+ years as an Apprentice Lineman or equivalent
- Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Full understanding of line design, fuse coordination, switching, tagging, and grounding
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of the job from start to finish
- Commitment to safety and quality on every task

Work Environment
- Work sites are outdoors in potentially extreme weather conditions
- All worksite safety instructions are written and spoken in English; must be fluent in English
- Work includes prolonged and repeated: lifting (including overhead, up to 50lbs); standing; climbing; kneeling; reaching and feeling; crouching and crawling
- Work is performed within the “red zone” of heavy equipment
- Working safely requires quick/accurate hand-eye coordination and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
Legal Stuff
- Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens
- Provide valid US work authorization documents for E-Verify
- Satisfactory results of pre-employment background check results
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Pre-employment medical fit-for-duty test; hold/obtain DOT medical card
