Title: Fleet Administrator

Who We Are
We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized Telematics Administrator to support our Fleet Operations team in managing and optimizing our Samsara telematics platform. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the integrity of our fleet data, supporting safety initiatives, and ensuring seamless coordination across operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical aptitude, administrative experience, and the ability to collaborate across departments.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all aspects of the Samsara telematics platform.
- Manage user accounts: add/remove users, reset installer credentials, and manage installer access.
- Activate and deactivate devices, ensuring accurate tracking of deployed and inactive units.
- Maintain and manage inventory:
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot device issues, and coordinate resolutions with Samsara support.
- Manage and maintain asset tags, attributes, and driver assignments within the platform.
- Review and edit speed limit data.
- Review and verify monthly billing and invoices.
- Compile and distribute operational and compliance reports.
- Support IFTA (International Fuel Tax Agreement) reporting through Samsara tools and asset tagging.
- Respond to requests from internal departments (e.g., Safety, Legal, Claims) for documents related to incident investigations or legal discovery.
- Assign coaches for events requiring intervention.
- Track and manage event resolution.
- Monitor and review dash camera events.
- Update vehicle license plates and other registration details in the system.
- Respond to internal support requests, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
What You'll Have
- Experience: 2+ years in fleet administration, telematics systems, or a related technical/administrative role.
- Preferred: Experience with Samsara or other telematics platforms (e.g., Geotab, Verizon Connect).
- Strong understanding of fleet operations and GPS-based tracking systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Work Environment
- Work is performed in a typical indoor office environment
- Occasional travel may be required
- Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late when necessary with little or no notice
- Must be able to read documents, use a computer, communicate verbally and in writing
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
