What You'll Do
General Summary
The Training Supervisor is responsible for Oversight and ensuring the organization and function of the Training departments administrative team is fully aligned with both Linetec’s and The Training Departments goals and objectives.
Responsibilities / Major Job Tasks
1. Verifies and Ensures accuracy in Apprenticeship program enrollment
2. Oversees that the Apprentice program participants are being guided through all course material
3. Troubleshoot LMS when necessary
4. Manage Department of Labor certification participation
5. Participate in, organize, and assist in conducting of Apprentice Committee Meetings
6. Oversees the Maintenance of records
7. Provides Staff with feedback regarding record and process updates
8. Directs process improvement and efficiency within Apprenticeship Program
9. Working with Operations to ensure participation and proper progression though the Apprentice Program
10. Manage and oversee scheduling for Apprentice and Continued education instructor lead training
11. Assist in development of curriculum and student related materials when needed
12. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
13. Office administrative duties such as data entry, preparing presentation, etc. as necessary
Work is typically performed in a remote office setting. Considerable time will be spent out in the field and on business travel (up to 30% of the time).

4. Written communication skill to compose complex reports, legal documents, proposals, and business plans.
5. Oral communication skill to communicate with customers, co-workers, and business contacts in a courteous and professional manner.
6. Interpersonal skill to negotiate key business strategies or significant agreements favorable to the Company, reconciling differences to arrive at acceptable solutions.
7. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, financial reports, business plans and strategies, and legal documents.
8. Ability to assist with developing annual business plan for division or organizational unit to accomplish organizational objectives.
9. Ability to persuade others to a course of action by instructing, convincing, or influencing through professional guidance using logic and example.
10. Ability to assist with planning and scheduling activities over a year or longer, including regular review and coordination of activities required for implementation.
11. Ability to accomplish departmental, divisional, and organizational goals when information is vague, and details are absent or difficult to obtain.
12. Ability to solve unique problems and develop methods, systems, policies or services that have a significant impact on company objectives.
13. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Supervisory Responsibility
1. Supervisory responsibility with direct reports (both on-site and Remote)
2. Provides work guidance, technical assistance, or on-the-job training to other individuals in the work group.
3. Leads the work of others within the work unit by training, allocating, and monitoring work. Generally, performs work of a similar nature.
4. Supervises employees by establishing work goals, allocating resources, conducting performance appraisals, and recommending personnel actions.

Education
1. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
Experience
5 years of demonstrated electrical operations, construction, and maintenance knowledge
3 years of management experience

Physical Requirements

8. Fingering/Grasping/Feeling: Major portions of daily work require application of manual skills involving motor coordination and finger dexterity.
