Our Onboarding and Recruiting Coordinators are responsible for full cycle recruiting while using the company Applicant Tracking System, SuccessFactors. You will work hand in hand with the location’s Operations Leadership Team to insure that Linetec's recruiting goals are met. Your role will help establish Linetec as an employer of choice by developing partnerships in the community and raising awareness of the company and job opportunities.

SkillBridge Eligibility Overview:

To be eligible for this SkillBridge Fellowship you must meet the following requirements:

• Must be eligible to participate in Fellowship per DoD Instruction 1322.29.

• Must be projected to receive an honorable discharge from the military.

• Must have all TAP and transition requirements completed prior to the start date.

• Must receive approval from Unit Commander or O4+ in the chain of command.

• Must be located within a commutable distance or willing/approved to relocate to the job location.

HOH Fellowship Eligibility Overview:

To be eligible for this opportunity you must be approved participant in the US Chamber of Commerce Hiring our Heroes Fellowship Programs.

What You'll Do

  • Execute Linetec's onboarding process, ensuring an excellent New Hire & Rehire experience
  • Work with Operations leadership and other Hiring Managers to determine hiring needs and sourcing options
  • Create and Manage job requisitions and internal applications utilizing the ATS
  • Propose solutions when candidate flow is lacking
  • Conduct candidate searches through external sourcing
  • Pre-screen resumes for Hiring Managers
  • Conduct initial phone screens with candidates
  • Schedule and coordinate in-person interviews
  • Partner with Corporate Talent Acquisition to obtain offer letters
  • Conduct drug screens and background checks
  • Participate in new employee orientation
  • Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with educational institutions, military, professional associations, and community organizations to facilitate the company’s staffing demands
  • Perform other duties as requested by leadership

What You'll Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience considered
  • 3-5 years of high-volume recruitment experience preferably in a construction or blue-collar work environment
  • A solid grasp and understanding of employment practices and employment law
  • Ability to positively represent the company in a professional manner at events
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external partners
  • Excellent customer-service skills, with timely responses to requests
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Post Internship employment will require some travel required (less than 25%)
  • Proficiency with various Windows programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Experience working in an Applicant Tracking System; SuccessFactors a plus

Work Environment

  • Work is performed in a typical indoor office environment
  • Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late when necessary with little or no notice (post-fellowship employment)
  • Must be able to read documents, use a computer, communicate verbally and in writing
  • Mobility required within an office, warehouse and construction site environments
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds

  • Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens
  • Provide valid US work authorization documents for E-Verify
  • Satisfactory results of pre-employment background check results
