As a Manager of Compensation you will lead Linetec's incentive compensation programs. This includes plan documents, strategy, design and analysis, administration, calculation, employee agreements, communication, and procedures. You will also support Centuri Group compensation requests, best practices and align with Department of Labor rules and regulations. You will report to the Director of Workforce Management, with a dotted line to the Corporate Compensation Director.

What You'll Do

  • Provide guidance on all aspects of Linetec's incentive compensation programs
  • Establish strategic project definition, idea generation, implementation, and change management of Linetec's incentive compensation
  • Provide recommendations to leadership on changes to our variable incentive compensation plans and strategy
  • Collect and analyze current data and partner with senior leaders to review the current state of the positioning of our incentive compensation programs
  • Communicate the current incentive compensation programs of the organization
  • Perform compensation and related research on employee's compensation and incentive changes
  • Counsel managers and employees on any compensation and incentive questions or issues and facilitate resolutions
  • Ensure compliance with DOL, FLSA, EEOC, requirements and other federal and state rules and regulations
  • Perform other responsibilities as requested by leadership

What You'll Have

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or related field of study
  • 6 years of work experience in the compensation field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Preference for experience with variable compensation & skill-based pay
  • Knowledge of compensation practices to analyze and apply information
  • Knowledge of and skill in using computer software, HRIS/HCM, Microsoft Word, and experienced in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create formulas, vlookups, pivot tables, and data modeling
  • Mathematical skill to calculate and interpret data using percentages, ratios, averages, and medians

Working Environment

  • Work is performed in a typical indoor office environment
  • Flexibility to work different schedules and stay late with little or no notice
  • Can read documents, use a computer, communicate verbally and in writing
  • Mobility required within an office, warehouse and construction site environments
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
