As an EHSQ Manager, you will direct the comprehensive implementation of safety and quality programs across your designated operating area. Serving as a key leader for the local team, you will act as a primary steward for both internal and customer-specific EHSQ standards to ensure operational excellence.
What You'll Do
- Help with preparation and implementation of safety related programs
- Manage safety, quality, auditing, and training programs
- Provide instruction as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Safety & Quality tasks
- Support the training for new hires
- Implement safety and quality procedures, all applicable regulations and Company/Customer standards
- Facilitate and encourage a safety culture of commitment to continuous improvement
- Manage and conduct on-site safety assessments of crews
- Investigate incidents and use root cause analysis to create corrective actions
- Complete internal quality control audits and communicate audit findings
- Manage drug and alcohol program and maintain safety documentation
- Help with the risk assessment and hazard control of new projects/ tasks
- Define goals aligned with our goals and safety department vision
- Stay informed on industry topics to create direction of the department
- Be our Safety Representative with customers and within the industry
- Perform other responsibilities as requested by leadership
What You'll Have
- High School Diploma (or equivalent), paired with a professional certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP)
- 5+ years of professional experience in safety, quality, or regulatory compliance within power distribution, transmission, or heavy construction industries
- 2+ years of experience leading high-performing teams, with a proven ability to establish clear operational goals and provide meaningful coaching and feedback
- In-depth technical understanding of electrical construction for distribution and transmission systems, including relevant safety standards and industry best practices
- Demonstrated experience presenting complex safety materials with clarity and precision to ensure full comprehension across diverse audiences
- Proven track record of motivating teams and driving the continuous improvement of a proactive safety culture focused on long-term workforce development

Work Environment
- Work is performed 50/50 in an office environment and on construction sites
- Flexibility to work different schedules and stay late with little or no notice
- Can read documents, use a computer, communicate verbally and in writing
- Mobility required within an office, warehouse and construction site environments
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
