We are seeking a Fleet Mechanic to support our operations by maintaining and repairing a variety of company vehicles and equipment. This role involves working on cars, trucks, off-road equipment, and small tools in a safe, efficient, and quality-focused manner. The ideal candidate is dedicated to safety, takes pride in their craftsmanship, and understands the importance of keeping our fleet running reliably.
What You'll Do
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on vehicles and equipment, including:
- Engines, transmissions, clutches
- Suspension, steering, brakes, and HVAC systems
- Electrical systems, fuel and ignition (gas and diesel)
- Respond to breakdowns and perform emergency roadside repairs when needed.
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections to maximize safety, uptime, and lifespan of fleet assets.
- Follow proper documentation procedures including mileage/hours, warranty parts, repair records, and parts ordering/billing.
- Perform maintenance and repair welding on equipment.
- Maintain a general understanding of DOT regulations
- Support other fleet and shop duties as assigned by leadership.
What You'll Have
- School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience repairing and maintaining cars, trucks, off-road equipment, and/or small engines.
- Working knowledge of:
- Automotive and diesel systems
- Small engines and construction-related equipment
- Ability to diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- General computer competency for work orders and service documentation.
- Strong commitment to working safely at all times.

Work Environment
- Work sites are outdoors in potentially extreme weather conditions
- All worksite safety instructions are written and spoken in English; must be fluent in English
- Work includes prolonged and repeated: lifting (including overhead, up to 50lbs); standing; climbing; kneeling; reaching and feeling; crouching and crawling
- Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late when necessary with little or no notice
- Work is performed within the “red zone” of heavy equipment
- Working safely requires quick/accurate hand-eye coordination and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
Legal Stuff
- Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens

- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
