Title:  Supervisor, Fleet

Our Fleet Supervisor administers all activities relating to motor vehicles and equipment including powered construction equipment, towable compressors, trailers, etc.

What You'll Do

• Work with Area leaders to ensure fleet and equipment needs are met
• Maintain all local/state/federal regulatory compliance and reporting as it relates to the fleet and equipment
• Ensure vehicle and equipment preventive maintenance programs are followed, timely approval and completion of service, per preventive maintenance schedules, is met
• Maintain and reviews maintenance file records
• Perform regular gate check inspections to ensure safety and image standards
• Communicate effectively with drivers and equipment operators ensuring compliance with NPL fleet and equipment policies
• Perform other duties as requested by leadership

What You'll Have

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• At least 1 year of experience working around heavy equipment
• Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and presentation skills
• Ability to communicate at varying levels with field, senior management and corporate staff
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint  
• Understanding of third party maintenance and regulatory compliance programs
• Task/Result oriented
• Ability to implement and drive change management
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills

Work Environment

• Work is performed in a typical indoor office environment
• Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late when necessary with little or no notice
• Must be able to read documents, use a computer, communicate verbally and in writing
• Mobility required within an office, warehouse and construction site environments
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds

Legal Stuff

• Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens
• Provide valid US work authorization documents for E-Verify
• Satisfactory results of pre-employment background check results
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
