As a Warehouse Assistant, you play a vital role in ensuring our construction projects run smoothly by helping maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked shop or warehouse. You’ll support all warehouse functions through hands-on labor and work closely with the Warehouse Manager to ensure the right materials are available at the right time. A well-run warehouse is the foundation of our project success—and you're a key part of that.
What You'll Do
- Ensure the shop and warehouse areas are kept clean, organized, and free of debris
- Assist with yard operations including the loading of pipe, assembling orders, general cleaning, organization, stocking, and repairs
- Receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse
- Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items
- Assemble, mark, open, and count various stock items
- Drive a vehicle (generally one ton or less) within the local area to transport passengers and make routine pickup/delivery of supplies and materials
- Operate several types of power motor vehicles including but not limited to: Single Axle & Tandem Axle Truck Tractors, Medium Duty, Single Axle Dump Trucks & Flatbed Crew Trucks, Semi-Tailors, Flatbed, End Dump, Lowboys, and Equipment Tailors
- Utilize computer record keeping system to track and monitor inventory, small tools, and equipment
- Maintain file system for all warehouse functions
- Perform other responsibilities as requested by leadership
What You'll Have
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to operate and maneuver vehicles and equipment in tight spaces within a storage area
- Prior experience with inventory counting and tracking methods

Work Environment
- Work is performed in a typical warehouse environment and an outdoor construction yard
- Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late when necessary with little or no notice
- Must be able to read documents, use a computer, communicate verbally and in writing
- Mobility required within an office, warehouse and construction site environments
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 80 pounds
- Working safely requires quick/accurate hand-eye coordination and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner

- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
