The Manager of Accounting Services is essential to supporting National’s growth by ensuring compliance with Centuri policies and managing increased financial and administrative operations. Overseeing a team of 2-5, this role provides critical accounting support across accounts receivable, payroll, job costing, and more, while acting as a liaison between operations and corporate. By driving process improvements, ensuring accurate revenue recognition, and maintaining contractual and audit compliance, this position enhances efficiency and scalability. Its timely addition ensures financial integrity, operational alignment, and the ability to sustain National’s expansion.
This position reports directly to the Centuri's Director of Accounting while also supporting National's VP of Operations.
Work Schedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

What You'll Do
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting and administrative professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
- Oversee and enhance day-to-day operations, including accounts receivable, payroll, human resources, accounts payable, customer work management, and job costing
- Collaborate with Operations Managers, Superintendents, and Foremen to ensure alignment on financial goals and maximize operational efficiencies
- Provide strategic financial support, including accurate revenue recognition, budgeting, and financial analysis
- Identify and drive process improvements to enhance productivity and ensure compliance with internal controls and execution of customer contracts
- Assist with preparations and evaluation of contract bids to inform decision-making
- Serve as a liaison between operations and the corporate office to address inquiries and requests as necessary, including any audit requests
- Provide financial reports and analysis for operations and corporate leadership
- Determine, communicate and provide the accounting and administrative staffing needs of the business
- Ensure internal consistency, completeness, and accuracy of accounting documents
- Coordinate, perform, and promote company policies, procedures, and internal controls as well as business specific procedures
- Perform other tasks as requested by leadership

What You'll Have
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- 5+ years of working experience applying accounting principles
- 2+ years of experience supervising, coaching, and mentoring others

Work Environment
- Work is performed in a typical indoor office environment
