Under the guidance of the Manager of Quality, the Senior Supervisor of Quality oversees Neuco's Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), and Damage Prevention Programs. Plans, schedules, and executes department activities and audits. Coaches and trains staff on safety protocols, implements best practices, establishes performance metrics, and drives continuous improvement. Acts as a liaison with customers, community officials, excavators, and internal teams regarding all aspects of Neuco's QA/QC and damage prevention programs.
What You'll Do
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff, coaching and motivating the team
- Recruit, train, and support employee development
- Initiate hiring, manage terminations, conduct performance evaluations, and implement disciplinary actions
- Design and implement QA/QC, damage prevention, and educational programs in compliance with regulations and company and customer standards
- Conduct quality internal assessments and communicate findings to leadership, along with recommending corrective actions
- Reinforce and monitor adherence to all QA/QC and Damage Prevention policies and procedures across field operations
- Communicate QA/QC and damage prevention trends to leadership
- Establish effective compliance audit measures and a field/record assessment program
- Supervise the implementation of best practices for public awareness, field execution, employee training, work processes, and documentation
- Maintain internal and external customer satisfaction while balancing effective damage prevention practices and completing 10% field audits on all locators and sketchers
- Collaborate and communicate with the customer’s damage prevention group when necessary, such as for problem locates and missed marks
- Perform other tasks as requested by leadership
What You'll Have
- 5+ years of experience in utility locating and/or gas facilities construction and supervising employees
- Experience in underground facility damage investigation
- Experience in auditing underground location process
- Knowledge of damage prevention techniques, utility law/legislation, utility locating practices and industry trends.
- Knowledge of design and construction of gas distribution facilities as well as the codes and regulations that govern the operation and maintenance of the gas distribution system
- Able to analyze multiple sources of data and see relationships/patterns/trends, identifying root causes or consequences and implications.

Work Environment
- Work is performed in a typical indoor office environment
