NEUCO is seeking a Supervisor of Operations Training to join our Team! The Supervisor of Operations Training provides leadership and guidance to the Operations Training department. The Supervisor is responsible for training and developing employees, as well as managing personnel matters such as hiring, terminations, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and coaching and motivating staff. The Supervisor will design, oversee, develop, and deliver training programs that focus on technical skills, safety, Operator Qualification, and regulatory compliance.
What You'll Do
- Ensure that participants and instructors adhere to all policies and procedures.
- Establish, track, and report on benchmarks and the progress of the program.
- Evaluate and update existing training programs, materials, and manuals to ensure continuous improvement and compliance.
- Collaborate with operations to identify training needs.
- Prioritize the planning, execution, and development of training schedules, programs, and materials to align with hiring schedules and address emergent workloads.
- Evaluate student performance and provide follow-up through field visits, observations, and refresher training.
- Promote a safe work environment by actively participating in all aspects of the employee safety program.
- Oversee the maintenance of records in the Operator Qualification Databases.
- Perform other duties as requested by leadership.
What You'll Have
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
• 5 years of experience supervising employees
• 5 years of experience in Gas Operations and/or Gas Training
• Previous experience supervising employees required
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements in relation to gas distribution and distribution system design
• Knowledge of construction principles and safety standards
• Knowledge of Company, Customer and State and Federal regulations pertaining to gas distribution
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Most possess leadership and coaching abilities
• Working knowledge of labor contracts
• Ability to use PC desktop applications including Microsoft Word & Excel

Work Environment
- Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late when necessary with little or no notice
- Must be able to read documents, use a computer, communicate verbally and in writing
- Able to lift 50-100 lbs. consistently
- Regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust
- Must be able to lift, push, pull or carry objects, use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue and to effectively jump, sprint or throw an object
- Requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination
- Noise level is generally loud
- Must be able to quickly move arms and legs
- Excellent stamina is required
